At the club they perform a monthly superpower check-up, just to be sure they can control their new powers, should the need ever arise. When the student council president, Mirei, suddenly appears at the club for an "inspection", July accuses her of actually "surveying" them... and that turns out to be the case, and she has the ability to steal superpowers. Further investigation reveals that Mirei received her powers only recently, whereas the club members have them for six months now.
