Amaama to Inazuma (Sweetness and Lightning) is indeed is a very heartwarming and sweet anime with excellent voice acting.
If you enjoy good ending stories and genres like *Slice of life, Seinen, Essay/Day-to-day/Heartwarming, you definitely should see it*
*Wouldn't you just love this semi-anonymous comment by insider in Japanese government:
... this manga/anime Amaama to Inazuma (Sweetness and Lightning) ...
***There is no evidence to support the claim that the series is a Japanese government plot to increase the birth rate.****
` – We welcome any related comments about video quality (please no personal opinions on how releases on nyaa should be done)`

I'm sure you'll just get offended and resort to ad hominem again, but it's still riddled with issues. You did however fix the ghosting/interlacing issue, so good work there.
Beyond that fix though, the video is full of [banding and blocking](https://i.imgur.com/eW7jt0Q.png), the subtitles suffer from [frame bleeds](https://i.imgur.com/mT2bdDQ.jpeg), the typesetting [renders incorrectly](https://i.imgur.com/rsddA3l.jpeg) (the gray border isn't meant to be there), spelling mistakes and missing fonts [aren't fixed](https://i.imgur.com/0dQmCto.png), motion tracking is [jittery](https://i.imgur.com/akwqjCr.mp4), and so on.
Most of the subtitle issues would be fixed by using ass subtitles instead of converting them to PGS (I noticed you still didn't attribute them to a source, but at least there's less of an implication you made them or ripped them yourself), but re the video, frankly I don't even know what you're trying to do. It's like you shoved it in handbrake on veryfast or something.
Anyway, since you requested facts, I'm sure the above links will be very useful for you, and you definitely won't just disregard everything I said and attack me again.
Look, I do not have access to substation alpha subtitles, all I have is a Blu-ray release that already has PGS subtitles (and I cannot edit them) meaning your comments about some issues with subtitles are really unrelated.
I checked the video sample you posted, but do not see any banding or blocking. And your video sample that's supposed to have jittering looks fine as well. Frame bleeds are probably due to subtitle timing and not related to the video encoding (blu-rays also occasionally have about 3 ms shift).
I probably can increase antialiasing and add some grain with future encodes, maybe I'm too old to see the discrepancies you noticed.
Certainly I could post in the comments in Asian DVD Club listing about subtitles, but I am not sure about solution myself, there is no software that converts substation alpha to PGS perfectly, except making them from the scratch with $1500+ a year [Scenarist Suite](https://www.scenarist.com/) (you're welcome to share your knowledge about making PGS subtitles). Although older Blu-ray releases with custom subtitles in Asian DVD Club are excellent, unfortunately members already retired. You apparently not a member there, but you can see many ADC torrents reposted on U2.
I downloaded all available releases of Amaama to Inazuma, and was not satisfied with video quality, this release visually appears better than the rest.
`I wanted to add something important that I forgot to mention earlier.`
`Thanks a bunch for taking the time to review the release. I really appreciate it!`
There might have been a misunderstanding previously. I never meant to come across as attacking you. If it looked that way, I apologize. Quite honestly, very rarely people with sufficient knowledge make the appearance, most of the time, in my experience, people with little knowledge forcing their opinion on others.
Your post really helped me identify the areas where we can improve. I’m taking it to the heart.
Software used Final Cut Pro, Apple built for macOS video editing and transcoding. Codecs are proprietary, the reason encoding setting are absent.
If you want to join Asian DVD Club, I have an invitation available, email me decimer_at_icloud.com

If you truly downloaded all available releases then you most certainly did have access to ASS subs for this show, as most releases are fansubs using them.
> this release visually appears better than the rest.
I doubt it's better than the [actual BD video](https://n.acg2.icu/view/1987712) without any re encoding. Note: That release has Substation Alpha subs, too.
That "actual BD video" from US Blu-ray is 75.8 GiB, Japanese Blu-rays are 178 GiB, do I need to write more or this is self-explanatory?
Substation alpha subtitles preference: if you like it so much, I see no reason for you not to grab them somewhere and add to the files (since this is what `you` prefer).
Mean no disrespect, but I cannot comprehend the reason for your post. If you don't want to download it, by all means you're not forced and you can certainly purchase [it](https://www.amazon.co.jp/%25E7%2594%2598%25E3%2580%2585%25E3%2581%25A8%25E7%25A8%25B2%25E5%25A6%25BB-Blu-ray-BOX-%25E4%25B8%25AD%25E6%259D%2591%25E6%2582%25A0%25E4%25B8%2580/dp/B01HTH2Z7C) instead and share with others.
You are not under wrong assumption that I am obligated to provide you personally?
> That “actual BD video” from US Blu-ray is 75.8 GiB, Japanese Blu-rays are 178 GiB, do I need to write more or this is self-explanatory?
Yes, you do need to write more. Please link to this "US Blu-ray" for this show, because there is no such thing.
Also, the remux I linked to (B00BA) purports to be JPBD source. Are you saying that group is lying about the source of their release?
I'm aware the JPBD box set is "six discs" but you are now contradicting yourself.
You said in the torrent description:
> This is amazon.co.jp 6xBD25, were ripped from Asian DVD Club Blu-ray release with English subtitles.
Six discs of BD25 is only 150 GB. How can the JPBD video for the show be 178 GB then (let alone any bonus content)? Clearly you are making some assumptions about what "six discs" means in the listings.
Oops! I made a silly mistake, it's 95Gb. I looked at the gigabytes uploaded, wrong column. But I still wonder if [B00BA] is a JDM rip, then it should be without extras 81.2Gb, not 75.8Gb, guess something got lost in translation.
Without any doubt, I really appreciate you teaching me how to write, you’re so helpful. I’m sure you’re doing this for our country, and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication.
Now, let’s talk about the US budget. It’s also super important…
I am rather certain that one elderly gentleman in charge of the United States, also, will be very grateful for your guidance. Like yourself, he's also experiencing difficulties staying on the topic. I am sure you will just click together. Are you related by any chance?
It has to be reencoded, jittering is pretty high (any advice for Apple Motion or Adobe Media Encoder?) as I see now only one way: frame interpolation to create smoother motion.
why PGS? Because this is a rip from custom BD which has PGS (I was trying to make comment on Asian DVD Club Blu-ray release page about subs with suggestion about it), making only comment that quality is low without solution (only old soft for ass->sup exist) does not make sence.
Will use substation alpha for next encode for nyaa, [Godless-Subs]? or is there something newer?
@Sekai-Subs, yeah agreed, I realized that it was never exported outside Japan
