Does the fact that both images are the same MB effect image quality compared to the actual video? More detail would normally mean a bigger file size.
It is interesting though. In some shots I just see a bit better line definition, while in some dark scenes I can see more grain. One shot I only saw better quality in the river in front of a cabin at night.
That, or I'm just to old and blind to know any better. lol
